We all know dining with toddlers is “fun.” Or at least for me, taking two toddlers out to dinner who are 2 and under can be challenging. But eating out with them doesn’t have to cost you a lot! Below is a list of some of our favorite places to go with children!

Yes, we are even “those parents” who bring an iPad or tablet to help entertain our children to avoid a major meltdown.

1899- $7 kid’s meal with drink- our kids indulged in the mac and cheese, it was big enough for two kids to fill up on and have leftovers.

Altitudes- Meal includes a frisbee and side for $6

Big Foot BBQ- Kids play area with great happy hour specials. A kids menu is also available.

Buffalo Wild Wings- Although they don’t offer a kids eat free option they have buy one get one traditional wings on Tuesdays and special boneless wing price on Thursday. Their kids chicken and fries is big enough to feed our two children plus a piece or two left for the next day.

Café Rio- Free Nino (Cheese quesadilla). Go for Taco Tuesday ($1.99 tacos) for a discount on your food.

Chipotle- Build your own taco for $5 or cheese quesadilla for $4 (enough food for two kids)

Fat Olives- All meals are $6.50 and include a drink- go during happy hour for discounts on adult meals!

HuHot Mongolian Grill- Kids Under 3 Eat FREE (Grill Meal Only).

Mama Luisa- Kids Meal Includes Soup or Salad- enough for multiple meals

Oakmont- Always a great place to take kids in the summer. Kids can run free while you sit on the patio and enjoy your meal and drink. When ordering the kids chicken tenders, we have enough for them to eat and take some home (can you see our trend with ordering kids meals).

Oreganos– Kids pizza slice is enough to feed two toddlers and the pasta is huge! The meal even comes with a drink. The staff will even give you dough balls to play with while you wait for your food.

Pita Jungle- $5.99 includes drink, protein, fruit, vegetable, and grain (enough for more than one meal).

Texas Roadhouse- Meal includes a drink and a side and enough for leftovers.

Tourist Home- All meals are $6.

Wildflower- Every Wednesday from 3:30-4:00 enjoy free cookies with milk and a craft.

Your Pie- 7” pizza, ½ panini, or side salad with drink and one scoop of gelato for $6.50. We generally stick with the 7” pizza and have the kids share the gelato.

**Lumberyard and Beaver Street are two other places we frequent but pricing is not available online.

Hi everyone- I’m Amanda! Being a Midwest Nebraska girl at heart, my husband and I planted our roots in Flagstaff in August of 2016. Life has not stopped since our move to Arizona with welcoming two kids within a year! When I’m not directing chaos and watching endless amounts of Paw Patrol I put on my “owner hat” running a Marketing and Graphic design company (Flip Marketing). Balancing the work and mom life has been a struggle but I thrive on chaos!

  1. Love all these suggestions! Cafe Rio and Pita Jungle are favorites in our house. We also like to order for the adults and 8 year old… then let the 6 year old graze off everyone else’s plate. Because 1/2 the time they don’t finish their meals anyways! Or order two meals… and just split them both!
