We are looking to expand our FMB executive team!

Do you enjoy supporting other moms and building community? Are you passionate about Flagstaff and the moms who live here? The Flagstaff Moms Blog team is growing, and we are looking for a mom to join our growing team as a Sales Coordinator! This is a flexible, part-time, paid position.

Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator is a contract, commission-based position that will solicit and manage new businesses for sponsored guides, events, projects, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Solicits new advertising business from any local business that would attract moms in the Flagstaff and Northern Arizona area.
  • Helps develop Sponsored Guide campaigns that meet the needs of Flagstaff Moms Blog readers and bring in optimal profit (ie: strategic, timely, comprehensive)
  • Sets weekly goals to include businesses to reach out to, as well as a number of contacts to make each week
  • Works with owners to develop a year-round strategy for sponsored guides – both for new guides and renewal and growth of repeat sponsored guides (examples – Direct Sales, Summer Camp, Schools etc)
  • Coordinates all sponsored guides (ie: receives images and information from the advertiser, coordinates with the owner when invoicing is needed, plans out social media posts and coordinates with social media coordinator and/or owner)
  • Actively work with the FMB Executive Team; additionally, interact with City Moms Blog Network Site Support Staff on best practices
  • Other various projects on a case by case basis.
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner (24 hours when possible, but always within 48 hours).
  • Maintain consistent communication with owners about projects.
  • Represent Flagstaff Moines Moms Blog in a positive and professional manner at all times

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing and strong communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Passionate about Flagstaff businesses and Flagstaff area moms
  • 1+ years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments.
