Flagstaff Facts

+ Flagstaff experiences a four-season climate

+ On average, the city records 100″ of snowfall a year

+ Flagstaff is known for clear air and mild weather conditions year round, due to high altitude and low humidity

+ The city averages approximately 288 days of sunshine a year, which makes for fantastic summers and manageable winters

+ Air travel is available through Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG) and offers a variety of flights, daily with some non-stop direct into major cities

+ Flagstaff is considered a Bike Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists and includes 117 miles of dedicated bike lanes

North West Flagstaff

Distance to Downtown: 15 minutes or less

Amenities: AZ Snowbowl, Museum of Northern Arizona, Pioneer Museum, Coconino Center for the Arts, Hiking

Lifestyle: The North West Side of Flagstaff includes a wide range of neighborhood choices. Enjoy amazing outdoor amenities while still living only a short distance from downtown. Travel to downtown via Highway 180. 

 

East Flagstaff

Distance to Downtown: 20 minutes or less

Amenities: Hiking, Cinder Hills OHV Area, Flagstaff Mall, Flagstaff Harkins 16 Movie Theater, Public Golf Course, Mountain Biking, Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS)

Lifestyle: The East Side of Flagstaff offers a wide variety of neighborhood choices ranging from Country Club living to more rural animal-friendly large-lot properties. Easy access to hiking and biking trails. Travel to downtown on Historic Route 66 or via Interstate 40 and Butler Ave. 

 

West Flagstaff

Distance to Downtown: 15 minutes or less

Amenities: Flagstaff Airport, Fort Tuthill Country Park, Coconino County Fairgrounds, Flagstaff Snow Park, Pepsi Amphitheater, Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS), Lake Mary Recreation Corridor 

 Lifestyle: The Westside of Flagstaff is conveniently located near several popular attractions. This area of town is approximately 35 minutes to Williams, AZ and less than an hour to Sedona, AZ. Travel to downtown Flagstaff via Milton Rd or Interstate 40 to Butler. 

 

Kachina Village + Mountain Aire

Distance to Downtown: 18 minutes or less

Amenities: Pumphouse County Natural Area

Lifestyle: Kachina Village and Mountain Aire are located just South of Flagstaff. Surrounded by U.S. forest land the neighborhoods have a mountain-town feel. Only a short drive into downtown via Highway 17. Distance from Sedona is less than an hour.
