Family: These people are the magic in my life. My husband Michael who I couldn’t be where I am today without and our 2-year-old son Oliver. We have two dogs; Dorsia and Bright Eyes and of course our extended family that LOVE to escape the heat of Tucson and Phoenix and pop up for visits!

Job: I am a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer for Tylan Mortgage, LLC and I also am the bereavement coordinator for the JLB Project

What brought you to Flagstaff: WAY back when in 2003 I fell in love with Flagstaff as an undergraduate at NAU and I just never left <3

Favorite thing to do with your Family: Be outside, and luckily we can do that in our amazing town 365!

Going back in time, one thing you would tell yourself right before you became a mother: Enjoy it. It’s the hardest and most rewarding thing you’ll ever do. It’s amazing and you won’t recognize your life before it.

Something you are looking forward to: Watching my son grow up and experience life.

Best Mom Hack: Re-fillable squishy packs!!!

Favorite thing about being a Mom: Watching Oliver learn new skills. It’s amazing to think that just two years ago he couldn’t even hold a book by himself and now he picks his favorites off the shelves and turns to his favorites pages. He loves the library and picking out new books and saying good bye to his old ones 🙂

Kendra Franchi
Kendra Franchi is an Arizona Native, born and raised in Tucson. She moved to Flagstaff at 17 to attend NAU and decided instantly Flagstaff was her forever home. She completed an undergraduate degree in psychology, criminal justice and Spanish. With the support of her husband she continued on to obtain two graduate degrees in counseling and psychology. She went into private practice specializing in clinical health diagnoses as well as developmental disabilities and delays in adults and children. Kendra was an avid blogger for the community with Gluten Intolerance when she was originally diagnosed with Celiac. As life happens, many things changed when she had her (now) two year old son Oliver. She currently stays home and works as a licensed mortgage officer so she can raise/play and explore life with her little guy! You’ll see her around town, maybe reading some books to kiddos at a local story time and trying every new restaurant that opens. She is excited to get back into blogging and share with you new things to explore and love about our tiny town.
